Balaboosta is an incredible mediterranean cookbook by restauranteur and chef, Einat Admony, a 21st-century balaboosta (Yiddish for “perfect housewife”). She’s a mother and wife, but also a chef, busy running three bustling New York City restaurants. The cookbook features 140 of the recipes she cooks for the people she loves—her children, her husband, and the many friends she regularly entertains.
For the design solution, a foil-stamped cover, vintage textures and patterns, and Einat’s personal photographs were used to evoke a nostalgic but modern feeling.
Einat’s restaurant, Balaboosta, is just as amazing as these recipes are, as my husband discovered on our wedding day in New York City during an unforgettable dinner with our closest friends after our ceremony.
