The official companion book for the wildly successful show, Game of Thrones, reveals more about the beloved (and reviled) characters of the series, and their electrifying plotlines, and includes hundreds of set photos, production and costume designs, storyboards, and insider stories that reveal how the show’s creators translated George R.R. Martin’s bestselling fantasy series into the world of Westeros.

The book is bound in a lavishly debossed padded cover and the design solution utilizes custom typographic solutions for the names of the characters, a custom design language using patterns and color for the many different regions of Westeros, and varying paper tints and textures to establish a comprehensive guide for a show of enormous scale.

Since the design of this book, HBO has absorbed design elements created for this book into their own style guides.
